Vegetarian

There was a little saying that Ed and I would say about Olivia.  She will have no problem finding a husband considering the amount of meat she eats.  She loves meat!  You simply have to tell her it was meat and she'd gobble it down.  Bacon was a particular favorite, at least until Thanksgiving.

A few weeks before Thanksgiving we read several fun children's stories about turkeys, Thanksgiving and pilgrims.  On the day after Thanksgiving when we prepared our turkey, we took out the cold, featherless bird and showed it to Olivia.  Honestly thinking that she would be excited about the process because she loves to help in the kitchen.  But since then she refuses to eat any meat.

We're not huge meat eaters in our house, but a typical lunch would be deli turkey on a sandwich.  For the past week she refuses to eat her lunch or will eat only the bread.  Wednesday night for dinner I caved and made peanut butter and honey sandwiches. (Ed was gone for dinner, I was tired and didn't want to cook.)  She ate three whole sandwiches!  I guess I have a little vegetarian now.
