We had a marvelous Easter this year!
Easter started on Saturday for us this year. We made a special request to have the Easter bunny deliver goodies to our house Saturday instead of Sunday. This allowed us to focus more on Christ than on the egg bringing bunny.
The girls with their Easter goodies. The 'Uncle Wiggily' game, books and movies were joint gifts.
Saturday is also the traditional Easter Egg hunt at my mom's house. After a light lunch all the grandkids head out to hunt for eggs.
Then inside for some crafts. This year the girls decorated visors which they quickly turned upside down to be princess crowns.
Sunday we attend church as a family followed with a quick Egg Hunt in our front yard.
We typically dye egg on Saturday but since it was such a busy day, we moved it to Sunday.
We had a delicious dinner! Ham (which actually turned out great this year!!), potatoes, rolls, deviled eggs, and an Italian Easter Cake.
Deseret was a yummy Carrot cake with Cream Cheese frosting!
